Santa Rosa CityBus, Petaluma Transit, and Sonoma County Transit are offering fare-free rides on Wednesday, Feb. 4, in observance of Transit Equity Day commemorating the life and legacy of Rosa Parks and other transit trailblazers who pursued equitable transportation for everyone. This year, in addition to offering fare-free rides on Feb. 4, at 10 a.m., Santa Rosa CityBus will host a Commemorative Meet-up in the Downtown Second Street Transit Mall to celebrate Transit Equity Day. The public is invited to attend and hear Kirstyne Lange, Chair of the Political Action Committee for the local chapter of the NAACP and City of Santa Rosa Mayor Mark Stapp honor the individuals and events that helped advance equity in public transit and to discuss the future of public transit.  

Please be aware that CityBus will operate on its Saturday schedule January 19.

Route 1 detour due to construction.  Stop # 80512 will not be serviced.

No other stops impacted at this time.

SMART was unable to finish service testing for its new station on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no SMART service on 12/16. Service will resume on Tuesday 12/17 unless otherwise noticed.

Please expect delays on Route 12 due to a detour today 12/11/2024. The City is repairing a water leak. Due to the detour CityBus will not serve stops 80370 and 80371.

CityBus will not operate service on Thanksgiving Day (11/27) and will operate a Saturday schedule the day after Thanksgiving (11/28). Please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Due to a technical glitch real-time information may not be available today (10/8). The issue will be resolved before service begins tomorrow (10/9).

There will be no CityBus service on Labor Day, September 1, 2025.

The Transit Mall will return to its original location on Sunday, November 17. This applies to all transit services that use the Transit Mall as well as customer service and ticket sales. Thank you for your patience!
