Possible Delays Saturday March 28

On Saturday March 28 a planned march and demonstration will occur in Santa Rosa. While this march is permitted it may cause transit delays in and around the downtown. Please plan accordingly and use real-time information for the latest updates on your bus’s location.

Major Detours at Montgomery Village Effective 3/9/2026

On March 9, until further notice, the Routes 4, 4B, 8, and 18 will not serve stops on Sonoma Ave between Farmers Lane and Hahman Drive due to construction. These stops will be relocated to Montgomery Drive also between Farmers Lane and Hahman Dr. The stop at Farmers Lane just west of Franquette Ave will also be relocated to the northeast corner of that intersection. Schedules for these services will remain the same; however, delays could occur due to the construction. The map below shows the new routing and stop locations.

Due to heavy traffic caused by accidents in the City of Santa Rosa and on Highway 101 service is very delayed. Some routes have been dropped. Please use real-time information or contact customer service to check the status of your bus.

Apps like Transit App and Google Maps are not showing service for today, 9/2/2025. There is transit service today and you can use the text function or visit our website for real-time information.

New Service Begins August 10

CityBus will begin operating a new schedule starting August 10. The only change to the schedule is the Route 9E will no longer operate. The two Route 9E trips will operate as regular Route 9 trips.

Route 9E

The two trips for the Route 9E are operating as regular Route 9 trips. The Route 9E will not operate with the start of the next school year due to the fact the Santa Rosa Middle School campus will no longer be open.
